How long will it be until the MBT plant is operational?
Building the new MBT plant at Costessey is a major project and will represent one of the biggest civil projects ever undertaken in Norfolk. SRM’s plans need to be assessed by a number of agencies before work can begin. Once planning permission is granted.
This is an estimated timetable of events:
• County Council preferred bidder approval – March 2007
• Planning application – June 2007
• Consultations complete and on-going
